A number of Downtown Brandon Alliance events focused on economic development and flood resilience are scheduled for the next couple weeks.
On Tuesday, October 29, at Brandon Town Hall (lower level), the Economic Restructuring Committee of the Downtown Brandon Alliance will make “an interactive, visual presentation of the results of the recent Downtown Brandon Market Analysis, which included surveys of local business owners and customers, as well as a comprehensive description of the local trade area,” that was done with the help of the UVM Extension Service.
The Vermont Downtown Action Team will be visiting Brandon from November 4 to November 6, 2013, to meet with property owners, community members, town leaders and community stakeholders in order to develop three specific items focused on strengthening Brandon’s identity and economic vitality. Contact AnnMarie Roth for details.
The two primary events are the Brandon Public Input Meeting, Monday, November 4, at 5:00 PM and the Final Presentation, Wednesday, November 6, at 12 noon. Contact Steve Beck at 247.5721 or firstname.lastname@example.org for details or to sign up for site-visit or special stakeholder session.
Oh, yeah, and there’s a Planning Commission meeting November 4 in the Library!
