The Planning Commission held its regular monthly meeting last night (Monday, March 19), at the library.
On the agenda were the wildlife corridor, the Brandon-Based Code, and collaboration with other Town commissions, boards, and departments. We also talked about the possibility of setback waivers and other ordinances. (Be sure to keep an eye on the Town website for detailed minutes.)
On the wildlife corridor, we now have a working boundary line for a proposed zoning overlay. Be sure to check in here every now and again. We’ll post maps and drafts.
On the Brandon-Based Code, you may see your town planning commissioners wandering around with pen and paper in hand, taking notes. We’re gathering street-level data on different parts of Brandon to prepare for the debut of community planning workshops later this spring. Once we’ve made some preliminary findings – well, you know the drill: check here often to see if it’s posted yet!
