Regional Interest & Wildlife Conservation

November 20, 2012 by Jeff

Last night, after meeting with the Chamber (more on that later), your Planning Commissioners sat down with Tina (Brandon’s Zoning Administrator) and Steve Schild, GIS manager at the Rutland Regional Planning Commission. Steve’s as excited about Brandon-Based Code as we are, and we’ll be lucky to have his mapping and geographic analysis talents as the Code takes shape.

We also set a date, place and time for a town-wide discussion of how we can best conserve the regional wildlife corridor that runs across the southern part of Brandon near Otter Valley UHS. Please join us at the hall of the Brandon Congregational Church on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at 7 pm for a lively discussion with experts in the fields of wildlife biology and conservation.
